Is fly super look great Im love that jet

This is my first 70mm edf. She was a gift I won from our club raffle sponsored by FMS! What an amazing product. Really enjoy the locked in feel and the agile responses from the Viper platform. By far my Favorite new addition to my FMS fleet!! Highly recommend this airframe to those looking to fly larger edfs with confidence!

gear is great off grass. has lots of power

I got the FMS 70mm 15th Anniversary edition Viper a few weeks ago, but wasn't able to maiden it until today, let me tell you, if you don't have one, get one, it flies on rails, has awsome speed and performance, and flies beautifully. I run a CNHL 6s 4000 70c pack and fly for 5 minutes. So FMS has hit a homerun with yet another great flier. Everyone atbthe park comments on how good looking it is and how well it flies. Lands very smooth as well. Thanks FMS for another great model.

This 70mm Viper is a must have,it has more than enough power,at takeoff it climbs vertical great,during flight it's has incredible vertical climb out,it will handle any maneuver you want and it looks great doing it,this Viper makes a great first Jet,it's so stable,easy to fly and land. I'm flying it on a 6S 4000 and getting 4 1/2min flight times with 25%-30% left on the battery,a little less if I push it hard through out it's flight,super stable at very slow passes and easy to see during flight,it's size is perfect and takes very little room during transport,it's a all around great Jet,this 70mm EDF won't disappoint,it comes with me daily because it's so much fun to fly,it looks great on the ground and in the air,I added a afterburner light and so glad I did,finally it's price point is perfect,it looks great,plenty of power plus again very fun to fly, goes together very fast,easy battery change and the landing gear are fantastic,very fast at 100% throttle passes and fantastic thrust to pust it over the top correctly,I hope this review helps you in making a good choice for a fun sport Jet. Many 70mm Jets don't have very good power,this Viper has plenty. Thank You FMS for bringing this Jet to us.

If you take your time in getting all the wires situated and tuck them back into the back of the fuselage you will have the room to put a 6S 4000 as far back as it will go and the CG is perfect,with a 6S 3200 it needs to come forward about a inch to CG,at the very back of the battery tray there is a gap between the EPO foam and I put a AR630 perfectly vertical sandwich in the EPO and used hot glue to lock it in,it's permanent,the AR630 can be programmed for safe/as3x in this position,fit your battery,plug it in and tuck the battery wires to the side of your battery and the canopy will lock with out zero force,I hope this helps everyone,I'm using Velcro only,the battery will not move in flight,I have well over 150 flights and the battery has never moved once,there is zero need to cut out any foam to fit,I hope this helps everyone,see pics.

Absolutely fantastic platform. It's not much larger than most 64mm airframes and not much heavier either, so with the 70mm edf and 6s power this thing has unbeatable speed for the price. Couple that with a top quality paint job and suspension loaded retracts all the way around, it makes for a great addition to any hangar. So far it has handles rough take offs and landings during the winter at my field which is a bumpy public park. I suspect it might have a harder time getting up when the grass is long in the summer. Once it's locked in it flies on rails and has exceptional control at both bottom and top end speeds. The only quirk I've noticed is that even with flaps it wants to land a bit faster otherwise it loses its ability to flare if you come in too slow, not a deal breaker by any means. I added a gyro to smooth out wind but it'll do fine without.

I finally got the 15th Anniversary Edition Viper from my friends at FMS. The look, the livery, the finish is as always, above the rest.
I prefer a larger edf but it is awsome for a 70mm size.
I haven't flown my Viper yet, but am excited to get to do the maiden soon and post a flight review as well.
I have 6s 4000mah packs of different brands but have not been able to fit one in this Viper where the canapy will close and snap shut. I will attempt my maiden with a 6s 3300mah pack instead.
The landing gear has nice shock absorbing struts that look to be suitable for short grass which is nice.
The only thing I would suggest is for fms to put some better hinges on the control surfaces, something with this power, I prefer something other than foam hinges. But thats just a personal preference of mine.
Other than that, I love the look, and l love FMS planes, they are a cut above the rest in my honest opinion.
