All I could ask for

This is the best RC website for planes I've seen yet. It has all the planes. It has almost all the planes I'm interested in. They should add an rc b-29 and som airliner planes. I might not have found the airliners but I love them.

Excellent Information

Great information from the person commentary. I keep coming back to this to help me learn.

Solid Rock Performer

I have been wanting this aircraft for quite a while and had saved my money to purchase it. This aircraft is a solid performer and it draws a crowd every time I fly it. It is well worth your money and you won't be disappointed. And I have to commend Yuki at customer support for helping me with everything. FMS is a great company to do business with and I look forward to buying more aircraft from them. Thanks for such great products backed up by excellent customer support.

Great looking Mustang

Other review hasn't posted about assembling details. Finally flew it for the first time. Needed one small elevator adjustment then it flew on rails. Don't know if it's the motor but with a 4S 3300 50C pack it flys very slow in my opinion compared to my other planes. Not sure why they recommend a 2600 25C. My FMS 1700mm PA18 is even faster than this P-51 with the same battery.
All that aside the landing gear suspension is amazing for bumpy grass fields. Doesn't phase her at all. Scale looking take offs and landings. No mixing needed with flaps. Love watching the gear doors open and close in the overhead. Flying without SAFE on a Spektrum AR620. Honestly don't think safe is needed with this plane. It flys itself.

This thing is BIG!

I have 1.3mm plane and silly me figured 1450mm wasn't that much bigger. Wrong on that count. Never like the metric system. This plane is pretty neat for sure. The detail is very good and the instructions are pretty good even if the bags of parts aren't marked like the instructions say they are. Other than figuring out what control rods go where it goes together pretty easy. Look it over really well when you get the gear down, by the way that is pretty cool to see. First few times I had one side get hung up and found a small part on the strut was broken. Would not have an effect on landing. Have not had a chance to get it in the air as of yet but did get to taxi is around at dusk and it looks bad ass for sure. Handles grass and big bumps with no issues. I do wish the red paint was a bit more on the red side looks just shy of a dark pink to me. Flat clear may fix that but haven't tried it yet. Overall this is a great looking plane and I can't wait to get it up in the air along with my three other FMS warbirds. If this one flies like they do it will be really hard to keep the stupid grin off my face.

Red Tail Pilots' propers

This really cool War Bird representing the Tuskegee Airmen, who flew long range bomber escorts over Nazi Germany in WWII, were all black men. I'm very much wanting to put a P-51D Red Tail in my hanger, but only if the pilot in the cockpit is properly respected and represented as a black man. I mean no disrespect to the retailers who purchase these aircraft from their vendors, but I also respectively request that calls be made to the manufacturers to change the color of its pilots. Give these brave men, who fought and died to defeat tyranny overseas, only to come home to be seen and treated as second class citizens, their rightful place inside the aircraft that literally changed the course of the war. I had the honor of meeting one of these fine gentlemen when I lived in Fla. I stood and talked with him for better than 30 minutes, in the heat of the day. A fine and kind man who even had me wait while he went inside to get us each a glass of lemonade. That moment in time is one of the fondest memories of my life!
I wish that I'd gotten his name, so I could have looked him up in WWII historical records. And just for the record I'm white, and a proud member of the American Legion Riders, in service to those who serve(d) our great nation. I thank our Veterans every time I see them. If any readers of this exceptionally long verse are Veterans, Thank you for your service!
Thank you for your kind indulgence. Pease!
